27th January, 2004 Arctic Blast - (Arctic Maritime Lows)

Arctic Maritime air during Winter means very cold dry air from the Arctic and below average temperatures.
Usually a series of cold fronts travel from the North in polar lows, since they form a
boundary with warmer milder air to the south and there is a long track of air across the moist ocean.
