Key Goals
To provide free weather forecasts for the week ahead to the general public. To increase climate awareness by the use of temperature anomaly charts, rather than actual temperatures, using the "clever-html" computer clock based 1960-1990 climatological averages on this site as a reference base. This method minimizes the bandwidth on the site, and provides a rapid system for date-code dependence of temperature to be calculated by the users inbuilt computer clock. The average temperatures can easily be used off-line as well as online by saving the html code. To obtain valuable experience in forecasting, and creative webdesign. The Innovation and ideas developed in OnlineWeather.org.uk date back to 2003, with a strong interest in the world of the weather and creative website design. Free products include the 1960-1990 climatological averages, 2070 future temperature prediction and solar power in the UK. All of this work was carried out independently over the last 5 years. Developing experience in independent weather forecasting by web publishing to weather enthusiasts and to the general public across the globe.
This site supports renewable and sustainable energy and is currently looking for advertising in this sector. The solar energy sector is a growing business, and as such this website outlines the regions in the UK where solar power is a most efficient source for domestic energy. Other alternative and sustainable developments are also promoted.

Company Profile
I am a 3rd year PhD student at
the
University of
Edinburgh. Having completed a BSc (Hons) Meteorology at the
University of Reading
(2002-2005) and now with over 2 years experience in descriptive weather
forecasting as a past-time, I am able to give a reliable forecast to various
customers within the UK. I make use of various forecast numerical model outputs,
analysis charts and satellite imagery on the internet in order to compile a
weekly summary with an estimated "risk" according to the forecasting
reliability.
I have recently taken part in a weather forecasting 'challenge' on MetCheck© where I held a top ten position.
Forecasts are not to be relied upon for any business use, only for the general public who wish to obtain a
glimpse into the future weather. Advertising revenue currently only covers the cost of website hosting and registration of this site...
